Box condition guide.

Box grades describe outer packaging. NEW/USED describes the item; opened packaging, included items and completeness are separate details.

#GradeWhat to expect

01Collector's GradeNear-mint outer box with minimal wear. Check item photos and notes for any exceptions.

02GoodMinor shelf wear, such as light scuffs or small corner marks.

03OkayNoticeable shelf wear, such as creases, dents or edge wear.

04FairMore visible wear or damage. Review the item photos and condition notes.

05Damaged BoxSubstantial packaging damage, which may include tears, crushing or missing sections.

Open Box: a separate packaging status

An opened box can have any cosmetic grade, from Collector's Grade to Damaged Box. Check the listing for included contents and completeness. NEW or USED alone does not establish whether a box has been opened.

Photos may be catalog references. Ask for photos of the actual item when packaging or wear matters.

Box only

The grade describes the outer packaging, not included pieces or completeness.

NEW and USED

The recorded item condition is separate from the box's appearance.

Opening status

Open Box applies only when stated for the item. A box grade does not establish its seal status.
